On Thursday, ROSDORNIA employees completed their work at the XV International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of Russia".
For three days, ROSDORNII presented at its stand the latest scientific developments and an exposition telling about the activities of the institute.
The main objects at the ROSDORNIA stand were the first wheel load simulator in Russia "Cyclos" for accelerated testing of road structures, the universal mobile laboratory "Eskandor" for non-stop diagnostics of the road surface, an automated weight and size control system. Among the projects presented by the Institute, the most discussed were the concept of a national network of intelligent transport systems, a System for monitoring road funds, as well as a Register of new and best technologies.The innovations presented by the scientific institution attracted the attention of many guests of the event. In addition, during the "Transport Week-2021" representatives of ROSDORNIA held a number of working meetings, meetings and negotiations.
The final event with the participation of ROSDORNIA employees during the exhibition "Transport of Russia" was a round table on the topic of public transport reform, during which the following were discussed:

the role of ITS tools in the successful reform of the work of passenger transport of agglomerations;

approaches to optimization of route networks of public urban passenger transport using mathematical modeling tools;

reforming the organizational and economic model of public urban passenger transport as prerequisites for the successful implementation of ITS.
