On January 13, 2020, in Bonn (Germany) at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), a meeting was held between the delegation of the Russian Federation in order to exchange experience in the legislative consolidation and enforcement of provisions establishing the specifics of the movement of heavy and (or) oversized vehicles on highways, as well as the issuance of special permits for such movement., under the leadership of the Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Road Management of the Ministry of Transport of Russia A.V. Prokhodtsev, and representatives of the Federal Department for the Movement of Freight Transport (BAG).
The delegation of the Russian Federation included representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Road Agency, FKU "Rosdormonitoring", FAA "ROSDORNII". The head of the Department of Design Methods A.M. Kulizhnikov, the head of the Department for calculating the structures of road clothes for the movement of heavy vehicles A.S. Konorev, the leading specialist of the Department of Scientific and Technical Information V.E. Lezhnina were present from the FAA "ROSDORNIA".
During the meeting We discussed the legislative regulation of road freight transportation (including in terms of weight and size control) in the Federal Republic of Germany, got acquainted with the work of BAG controllers.
As a result of the meeting, cooperation was established with the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of the Federal Republic of Germany in order to cooperate on issues of road safety and improving road safety.
