Since the beginning of 2021, as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads", the Institute has carried out a large amount of work on monitoring the quality of road construction works and the condition of road transport infrastructure, including using the latest stationary and mobile laboratory complexes. Employees of regional branches visited the facilities 897 times and took more than two thousand samples of road surfaces for laboratory analysis. As of October 1, more than 50 thousand kilometers of highways have been surveyed, in total, more than 65 thousand kilometers are planned to be surveyed by the end of the year.
In September, the second accelerator of the road industry was launched. This year, representatives of the regions, in particular, the North Caucasus Federal District, whose transport problems require the involvement of breakthrough technological solutions, are actively participating in the competition.
Stanislav Naboko, Director General of ROSDORNIA, instructed the heads of the institution's branches to pay special attention to monitoring the quality of road works, to intensify work with regional road departments and project groups in order to achieve the targets of the BCD national project, to expand educational activities and promote the early introduction of digital technologies at all levels of industry management. In addition, an instruction was given to consider the possibility of cooperation between the North Caucasus Branch and universities of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation in order to find innovative solutions and attract young scientists to participate in the acceleration program.
