On June 23, Stanislav Naboko, Director General of ROSDORNIA, met with Ivan Mordanov, Deputy Director General of Shvabe-Moscow LLC, and Konstantin Antonovich, Technical Director of Spetsdorproekt LLC. The parties agreed to develop further cooperation based on the exchange of experience in the creation and operation of intelligent transport systems of cities and regions of Russia.
During the meeting, employees of Shvabe-Moscow LLC shared their experience in creating and operating a Unified Transport System Management Platform (UTS) in Moscow. The EPUT is the basis of intelligent transport systems (ITS), the creation of which in the regions of the country is handled by ROSDORNII as part of the formation of the national network of ITS.
The current EPUT of Moscow was demonstrated, considerable attention was paid to the performance indicators of the equipment. In the process of building the system, the employees of Shvabe-Moscow LLC have done a lot of work on the selection of optimal technological solutions that ensure the organization and safety of road traffic in the city.
Among other things the following issues were discussed at the meeting:
- - The history of the creation and functionality of the EPUTS of Moscow;
- - Features of the use of adaptive traffic control modes in Moscow;
- - Differences and features of the operation of the Moscow ITS element base, requirements for its reliability and fault tolerance;
- - Approaches of LLC Shvabe-Moscow to the implementation of the EPUT in Moscow and other regions of the Russian Federation, the possibility of further implementation of the EPUT in Moscow;
- - Experience in the creation and operation of traffic light objects with adaptive control, advantages of loop induction sensors for monitoring traffic flow.
The participants of the meeting were particularly interested in the service model of the content and maintenance of ITS Moscow. The leaders discussed the possibility of using the experience of the creation and operation of the Moscow EPUT in the regions of the Russian Federation.
