A testing laboratory based on two containers with advanced equipment for the branch of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" was sent from the manufacturing plant in the Republic of Mari El
The laboratory post is manufactured and equipped to fulfill the tasks of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways". The first such post was sent to the Far Eastern branch of the Institute. It consists of two containers, which are equipped with everything necessary for testing road construction materials.
Modern equipment meets all the requirements for testing equipment according to the system of volumetric and functional design of asphalt concrete mixtures. This is one of the technologies included in the Register of New and best technologies, materials and technological solutions for reuse. It is named a priority because it significantly extends the service life of the road. Mixtures are designed taking into account the transport and operational characteristics of the road structure, climatic features of the region.
The achievement of a positive result from the use of technology is possible only with its accurate compliance. This is what the new laboratory will check. In addition, experts will provide qualified assistance in the selection of the composition of asphalt concrete mix. Materials from facilities where other, more traditional technologies are used will also be tested.
The laboratory will also conduct tests of materials selected at construction sites as part of selective monitoring of the quality of road works. It is carried out by the FAA "ROSDORNII" as an Industry-wide competence Center. The Far Eastern branch, whose office is located in Khabarovsk, is assigned to the Khabarovsk, Transbaikal, Kamchatka, Primorsky Territories, Amur, Magadan, Sakhalin and Jewish Autonomous Regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Kamchatka Krai, by the way, this year plans to introduce a system of volumetric and functional design of asphalt concrete mixtures on the roads.
The laboratory will arrive in Khabarovsk during the week from July 13 to July 19. After the installation of the post, commissioning will be carried out.
In total, 6 mobile laboratories were manufactured this year. In addition to the Far Eastern branch in Khabarovsk, laboratories will be supplied also to Krasnoyarsk (Siberian branch), Yekaterinburg (Ural branch), Perm (Perm branch), Orenburg (Orenburg branch) and Volgograd (Volgograd branch).
