Installation using replaceable devices allows you to determine the strength of materials
In 2020, a large-scale equipment upgrade is taking place in the stationary laboratories of the FAA ROSDORNIA within the framework of the national project "Safe and High-quality Roads". The new equipment will be used in the framework of quality monitoring (audit) for testing road construction materials for compliance with the requirements of current regulatory and technical documents. We tell you about the installations and devices in detail.
The laboratory press is designed for testing concrete and cement samples for compression, stretching and bending. The test is carried out by static loading according to GOST 10180-2012 "Concrete. Methods for determining strength from control samples".
Samples can be subjected to tests-cylinders, cubes, prisms made of concrete or cement-sand mortar. Thus, compression tests are carried out on the halves of prisms with a side of 40mm or concrete samples with a side of the face up to 150mm; tests of cement-sand prisms (beams), as well as concrete samples-prisms for bending; other tests of building materials to determine the destructive load.
Sizes of possible samples: cylindrical – up to 150 mm in diameter, 320 mm high, concrete cubes – with sides of 100 and 150 mm. The maximum gain is 1500 kN.
Laboratory tests consist in applying short-term static loads and measuring the minimum forces sufficient to destroy samples. The press with a high degree of accuracy is able to maintain the set values of the compression rate and the load on the tested samples, established in the normative documents on the methods of testing materials.
