Integrated approach and scale

The Government of the Voronezh Region intends to involve the Voronezh branch of ROSDORNIA in the development of a new version of the integrated Traffic Management Scheme (CSODD). According to the acting head of the Department of Transport and Highways of the Voronezh Region Maxim Oskin, quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, such a need has long been overdue in connection with the development and construction of the regional center, the districts included in the Voronezh agglomeration, as well as plans for the construction of the metro.

When developing a comprehensive traffic management scheme, hundreds of factors are taken into account: the main socio-economic and demographic indicators, characteristics of passenger traffic and traffic flows, existing documentation on traffic management, parameters of the road network, and many others. Based on the analysis, computer models are created that allow you to choose the most effective way to organize traffic.

The integrated scheme is necessarily used in the preparation of urban planning documentation, consideration of the main issues organization of the vital activity of municipalities.

- Of course, we are ready to carry out such a large-scale work, - said Viktor Alferov, head of the Voronezh branch of ROSDORNIA. – Such an integrated approach will solve many problems of agglomeration development, and the scheme will become an effective tool for public authorities in improving the quality of life of the population and the investment attractiveness of the region.
