On September 25, a meeting of the project committee was held, which was held by Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov.
The Minister of Transport Evgeny Dietrich, his first deputy Innokenty Alafinov, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Gorovoy, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications Maxim Parshin, Head of Rosavtodor Andrey Kostyuk, General Director of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" Alexey Vyaryatchenko took part in the discussion.
The meeting considered issues on priority tasks to achieve the targets of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways. Reduction of the number of accident-hazardous areas, reduction of mortality as a result of road accidents were discussed. The interim results of the project implementation were summed up: more than 90% of the planned works were completed in 16 subjects, as well as road safety improvement was implemented. The tasks were set to reduce the number of accident-hazardous road sections by 2024 and to reduce mortality as a result of road accidents by at least 3.5 times compared to the level of 2017.
