On September 20, an expert meeting of the ONF thematic platform "Safe and High-quality Highways" was held on the basis of the All-Russian Popular Front, during which experts discussed the development of weight and size control for economic stimulation of road safety.
The issues of legislative regulation of weight and size control, issues of the practice of weight and size control in the subjects of the Russian Federation, factors that reduce the effectiveness of the existing system of weight and size control were considered at the site. Measures were proposed to improve the system of regulation of weight and size control, allowing to create a mechanism for economic stimulation of the safety of highways.
The expert meeting was attended by members of the Central Staff and representatives of the Executive Committee of the ONF, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport, FKU "Rosdormonitoring", FAA "ROSDORNII".
Deputy Director General of the FAA "ROSDORNII" Bryazgina Ekaterina Olegovna made a report on the progress implementation of the National BCAD Project for 2019-2024 as part of the installation of APVGK on roads of federal and regional significance. Alexander Konorev, Head of the Department of Calculation and Construction of road coverings of the Department of Diagnostics of Highways of the FAA "ROSDORNII", made a proposal on the widespread use of data from automatic weight and size control systems in the calculation of road coverings.
