On March 11, a meeting of the Russian Association of Territorial Road Management Bodies (RADOR) was held in Tula.
Heads of highway management bodies from 15 subjects of the Central Federal District discussed the activities of regional road funds and the implementation of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways".
"The first year has shown that the tasks of the national project are complex, but feasible. More than 1 million 200 thousand square meters of top asphalt pavement were laid across the country," Igor Starygin, General Director of the RADOR Association, said in his speech.
Tula Region is among the leading regions in the implementation of the national project. In 2020, 45 roads with a total length of 279 km are planned to be repaired in the region within the framework of state programs, 48 objects with a total length of 144 km within the framework of the BCAD. Minister of Transport and Road Management of the Tula Region Rodion Dudnik told the meeting participants about the experience of installing automatic weight and size control points (APVGC) in the Tula region - by now, 10 APVGCS have already been installed in the region. By the end of 2024 , it is planned to place on there are at least 190 stationary cameras of photo-video recording on the roads.
The meeting was attended by specialists of the FAA "ROSDORNIA": Director of Information Technology Andrey Mukhortov and Deputy Head of the Department of Diagnostics of highways Andrey Malykhin.
The discussion included "Recommendations for assessing the technical condition of the network of public roads of regional or inter-municipal, local significance and the road network of urban agglomerations within the framework of the implementation of the BCAD". The document was developed by the FAA "ROSDORNII", taking into account the comments and suggestions of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the FDA "Rosavtodor", the subjects of the Russian Federation received during the preliminary review. The Recommendations formulate the existing requirements for mobile laboratories, the structure of data transmitted to the SCDF, ensuring the reliability of the results obtained and achieving targets, describe the stages and types of diagnostic work to determine the technical condition of highways, etc.
