A working meeting of employees of Gazpromneft-Bitumen Materials, the operator of the bitumen business of Gazprom Neft, and the FAA ROSDORNII took place on the territory of the Gazprom Neft Bitumen Materials Research Center (SIC) in Ryazan.
During the visit, there was a visit to the laboratory of binders and the asphalt concrete laboratory of the research center, the site of the Ryazan Plant of Bitumen Materials Gazprom Neft, as well as the packing line of binders in boxed containers for long-distance transportation without loss of product quality characteristics.
Testing and research equipment used to determine the quality of bitumen binders and asphalt concrete mixtures was demonstrated to the employees of the FAA "ROSDORNIA". The equipment of the Research Center allows testing according to modern methods, including those included in the system of volumetric and functional design of asphalt concrete mixtures. The laboratories present both standardized testing equipment and unique research equipment for the Russian Federation, the samples of which include the Darmstadt a device that simulates the abrasion of asphalt concrete under tangential loads that occur at the time of maneuvers of cars at low speeds, as well as a Vialit pendulum device for assessing the cohesion of road bitumen.
In addition, within the framework of the cooperation agreement, ways were outlined for joint cooperation between Gazpromneft – Bitumen Materials and the FAA ROSDORNII, which will be aimed at improving the quality of bitumen binders, including those used as part of the implementation of the national project Safe and High-quality highways.
