The final stage of the acceleration program took place on December 24.
In 2020, as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways", ROSDORNII FAU launched an acceleration program, which is part of a set of measures to support technological enterprises in the road industry and is aimed at developing innovations and accelerating the implementation of technological projects. The platform was created to solve the problems of modernization of the road industry and technical re–equipment across the entire spectrum of technological directions - from road construction and repair to safety and resource provision. Of the 67 projects submitted for participation from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Perm and other regions of the country, after several stages of selection and examination of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", 14 reached the final. The jury consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the management of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" and large investment companies determined three winners, whose projects they can count on assistance in testing and maximum support during implementation.
The first place was taken by the company "Intellectual Security Systems (ISS)" – its new accident prevention system "SecurOS Soffit" offers light support for pedestrians at unregulated crossings at night. The second finalist was GC "Cynoferr", the development of which is associated with an environmentally friendly anti-corrosion coating of a new generation, significantly superior to the cold galvanizing technologies used today. The winner, who received the third place, was named the author's team of BFB LLC for the presentation of the technology of soil reinforcement with re-use materials (screening of steelmaking slag), which not only increases the pace of road construction and contributes to the solution of the use of man-made waste, but also significantly reduces the cost of road construction. According toAlexey Varyatchenko, General Director of the FAA "ROSDORNIA", the effective use of the budget in the industry is extremely important, as it provides an opportunity to use the saved funds from the state treasury for the actual repair and construction of roads. Therefore, when defending projects, the authors were most often asked the question – what specific advantages does this innovation give to road construction, infrastructure development? As it turned out, almost all projects are aimed at serious modernization of the industry. This means that the industries are interesting and after a number of improvements they will get a start in life.
"It is quite obvious that projects with a high degree of innovation and effectiveness have got into the first accelerator of the road industry. Our professional community is waiting for such developments, it is ready to use new materials, digital technologies and fundamentally new IT products," he said at the conclusion of the eventAlexey Kovrov, Director of the CC FAU "ROSDORNII". – I think that somewhere by June we will definitely receive information that a number of projects announced to us today have been successfully implemented in certain regions. Therefore, without false pathos, I consider all the finalists of our accelerator winners. After all, they had the opportunity not only to promote their work, but also to undergo intensive training, meet colleagues, accumulate ideas and experience in the format of joint cooperation."
