MOSCOW, March 23. /tass/. The Russian Road Research Institute (RosdorNII), within the framework of the national project "Safe and High-quality Roads" (BCAD), will update the equipment of its laboratories in Moscow, Voronezh and North Caucasus branches by the beginning of the road construction season 2020. This is stated in the message of Rosdornia.
According to the report, before the start of the 2020 construction season, it is planned to fully equip the sites in Moscow, Voronezh and North Caucasus branches with all the necessary set of measuring instruments, testing and auxiliary equipment. "More than 70% of all purchased equipment has already been delivered, acceptance, installation and commissioning are underway. At the next stages, it is planned to update the laboratories of a number of branches," RosdorNIA notes.
A large-scale upgrade of the material and technical base of the testing laboratories of RosdorNIA is necessary for monitoring and auditing the quality of road works as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe and High-quality Highways".
Currently , in the laboratory of the industry-wide department created on the basis of RosdorNIA The Competence Center (CCC) receives equipment that allows you to simulate loads and impacts characteristic of real road operating conditions (track formation, abrasion with studded tires, fatigue strength, frost resistance). In particular, in order to monitor the quality of road works, the BCC will have to ensure that road construction materials are tested for compliance with current regulatory and technical documents.
Updating the laboratories will allow the BCC RosdorNII to conduct tests on all major types of materials used in road construction. In addition, the possibility of testing mastics, sealants, as well as geosynthetic and deicing materials will be implemented in Moscow. The Voronezh branch is also supposed to be equipped with equipment for monitoring the characteristics of road signs and markings.
