Citizens have repeatedly sent photos to our portal, in which road workers make pit repairs in snow, rain and in conditions of "porridge" on highways. The last time the equipment was seen on the overpass. Deputy Head of the Municipal Administration Vadim Kulesha gave an official comment on this.
According to Vadim Ivanovich, within the framework of the municipal contract, the contractor "RosdorNIA" is fighting with excess pits by laying a special mixture with the help of a recycler. The mixture itself consists of bitumen, crushed stone and astringent additives, which is heated to 200 degrees. At first, preparatory work is underway - the pit is milled and dried. The recycler is capable of operating at temperatures up to minus ten degrees, and the technology allows for quite high-quality installation. RosdorNII has been using a recycler for several years. And although this work is temporary in order to ensure road safety, the mixture lasts for 2-3 years. And the main pit repair, of course, will begin in the spring, when dry weather sets in.
