The length is almost 10 kilometers, the area is 71 thousand square meters. Such is the scale of repair of the Tambov-Kotovsk highway. Voronezh specialists of RosdorNIA came to check the interim results.
The repair of the coating is carried out within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality highways". But this is not his only task. At each stage of the work, the quality of their execution is also monitored. And especially for this, our region was visited by specialists of the Voronezh branch of RosdorNIA. Their mobile laboratory is already familiar with the Tambov land. As part of the preparatory work, a quality audit has already been conducted at the Pervomaisky and Michurinsky facilities. Now the interim results of the repair will be checked on the Tambov-Kotovsk road.
Taras Glotov, head of the department of quality audit and introduction of new technologies of the Voronezh branch of the FAA "RosdorNII": "Usually a meter recedes from the axis of the carriageway, from the axis of the road. Here it is two-lane. So we retreated a meter. And cutting is also carried out at a distance of one meter from the edge. We take those places where the asphalt concrete pavement is subjected to the greatest loads."
Mobile laboratory complexes are equipped with the latest technology. With the help of these devices, road workers easily extract three cores from a newly laid leveling layer. After that, the samples are marked. Later, they get to the next stage of verification in the Voronezh laboratory, and the results of the research will be available only in 2-3 days.
On modern equipment in RosdorNIA, these asphalt concrete washers are examined for compaction, water saturation and other indicators. After that, the expert will draw up a protocol of laboratory tests. Depending on the compliance of the cores with the accepted requirements, two scenarios for further developments are possible.
Albert Churilov, Head of the Department of Highways and Transport of the Tambov region: "If it passes, then, accordingly, the top layer will be laid next. If it does not pass, accordingly, the contractor will carry out corrective measures at its own expense. That is, it is milling again and laying a new layer."
At the moment, it remains only to wait for the results of the research. By the way, the contractor "Tambovavtodor" gives a five-year guarantee for its work.
