The international conference on the impact of climate change on transport infrastructure has ended

On Tuesday, the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation hosted the closing of the international conference "Assessment of the effects of climate change: the introduction of new technologies and materials to ensure the regulatory condition of highways while adapting transport infrastructure to its changes."

During the recent discussions at the conference, experts from Russia and 19 countries discussed the impact of extreme hydrometeorological events on the transport infrastructure of Europe and Asia, the stability of the transport system to extreme climatic events, as well as the melting of permafrost and adaptation measures.

The conference on the impact of climate change on transport infrastructure was held on November 15-16. It was organized by ROSDORNII and the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
