Within the framework of the "Transport Week-2021", Deputy Director General of ROSDORNIA Alexander Kamenskikh and Acting Deputy Director General Ekaterina Bryazgina took part in a working meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning of Moscow, head of the working group on the development of transport systems of settlements, cities and urban Agglomerations of the Commission of the State The Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of "Transport", Sergey Kostin, as well as advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Dmitry Nemchinov.
During the meeting, topical issues, directions and prospects for the development of public passenger transport in Russian cities were discussed, including the following issues:
– the experience of the city of Moscow in organizing public transport services, the possibility of taking into account and scaling this experience in the implementation of the federal project "Modernization of passenger transport of urban agglomerations";
– the experience of ROSDORNIA in cooperation with regions and municipalities during the implementation of the federal project "System-wide measures for the development of road infrastructure" to update the rolling stock of passenger transport in the largest urban agglomerations;
– approaches to optimization of route networks of public passenger transport in large cities and urban agglomerations, as well as to improvement of the economic model of the organization of urban passenger transportation.
The problems and prospects of urban transport development will also be discussed in detail at the upcoming round table "Public Passenger Transport: Intellectual Transformation. Organizational reform", which ROSDORNII will hold on November 18.
