On April 22, a webinar on "Digitalization in the road sector" was held at the Federal Road Agency. The event was attended by Pavel Bryukhov, Head of the Department for Regional Development and Implementation of the National project of Rosavtodor, representatives of organizations subordinate to the Federal Road Agency, the FAA "ROSDORNIA" and regional executive authorities.
It was proposed to organize a series of thematic webinars at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission for Regional Development in the Russian Federation, which was held on February 11 under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
The issues of modernization and development of passenger transport, optimization of the route network and the use of BIM technologies were touched upon at the meeting. The participants also analyzed the most successful regional examples of the introduction of digital practices.
Experts discussed the modernization of existing ITS and their impact on improving the efficiency of passenger transport. The Deputy Head of the Department of Transport Planning took part in the event on behalf of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" Nikolai Toropov.
