On April 7 and 8, ROSDORNII FAA took part in the 17th interregional conference "New Progressive Technologies for the repair and maintenance of highways" and the Forum on Road Safety organized by the RADOR Association in Omsk.

With this event, the RADOR Association resumed traditional events with regional road administrations. The conference was held by the RADOR Association with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Road Agency, the Government of the Omsk Region, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Road Management of the Omsk Region. This is the first full-time conference in a year. The event gathered more than 200 participants from 22 constituent entities of the Russian Federation on the hospitable Omsk land: representatives of road management bodies, contractors, design, scientific and educational organizations in the field of road management, manufacturers of machinery, equipment and materials, the media.

The conference was opened by the General Director of the Association "RADOR"Igor Starygin and Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk Minister of Construction, Transport and Road Management of the Omsk RegionAnton Zaev. Igor Starygin made a report on the main results of the development of road infrastructure in the subjects of the Russian Federation in 2020 and the tasks for 2021-2030. Anton Zaev spoke about the main directions of development of the road transport infrastructure of the Omsk region.

At the plenary session of the conference, the Head of the Innovation and R&D Department of the CC FAU "ROSDORNII" reported on the Register of new and best technologies, materials and technological solutions for reuseElena Kashevskaya.

The conference participants actively discussed the use of new technologies and materials in the repair and maintenance of highways, as well as pricing issues.

Representatives of the Republic of Karelia, Kaluga, Vologda, Kostroma, Novosibirsk and Belgorod regions shared their experience in road management. Colleagues from the Omsk region told about the experience of using local construction materials.

The second day of the conference was held on the basis of the Siberian State Automobile and Road University and was dedicated to the Forum on Road Safety. In The Forum was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Transport and Construction of the State Duma of the Russian FederationVladimir Afonsky.
