On October 5-6, Moscow hosted the forum-exhibition "Intelligent Transport Systems of Russia: the digital era of transport". The event was organized by the Association "Digital Era of Transport" with the support of ROSDORNIA.
On October 5, the forum discussed issues of digitalization of the transport complex, the technical policy of ITS implementation, the results of technology implementation in the regions and the best local technological solutions in the field of ITS.On this day, there was also a presentation of the book by Igor Evstigneev, a leading expert in the field of ITS, head of the Department for the introduction of digital technologies of ROSDORNIA, "Fundamentals of creating intelligent transport systems in urban agglomerations" and the presentation of the prize of the magazine "Intelligent Transport Systems of Russia" for achievements in the development of digital technologies in transport.
During the first day of the forum, Anton Svistelnikov made a report on topical issues of standardization in the field of ITS and Alexey Soldatenkov, who spoke about changes in the methodology for evaluating and ranking local projects in order to implement the event "Introduction of intelligent transport systems providing automation of traffic management processes in urban agglomerations, including cities with a population of over 300 thousand man".
On October 6, the forum discussed the issues of infrastructure renewal and the attractiveness of urban space, coordination of actions in an open partnership, digital technologies in logistics. The experts also touched upon the issues of testing unmanned vehicles and approbation of ITS elements.On the final day of the forum, Igor Evstigneev, who spoke about the Federal Platform of the national network of ITS on public roads of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Pashchenko with a report "Metrobus for Russian cities — a new look at the priority of passenger transport", Mikhail Belov, who spoke about the concept of creating a national network of ITS, Vitaly Mironyuk with a report on the prospects applications of spatial data in ITS, as well as Nikolay Toropov with a report on practical approaches to the creation of a pilot zone to ensure the possibility of conducting experiments and testing ITS technologies that ensure the movement of highly automated vehicles on public roads.
ROSDORNII presented its stand during the exhibition, where the institute's staff answered the subjects' questions on the topic of ITS implementation.
Also, the participants of the event were shown developments in the field of photo-video recording of traffic regulations, systems in the field of transport monitoring, radio communications and dispatch systems.
