Alexander Kamenskikh, Deputy Director General of ROSDORNIA, took part in a meeting of the Public Council at the Federal Road Agency within the framework of the III Forum and Exhibition "Road Construction in Russia: innovation, technology, quality". The meeting was chaired by the head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov.
The meeting discussed the work on the implementation of the strategy of innovative development of the road sector for the period 2021-2025, issues of import substitution and training. A separate discussion block was devoted to the introduction of innovative solutions in the transport industry.
The Government of the Russian Federation is systematically increasing support for the transport industry. According to the head of Rosavtodor Roman Novikov, 28 billion rubles of additional funds were brought the day before for the overhaul of sections of highways with the expansion to four lanes.
The active work of industry activists in the Russian regions was noted. Thanks to their appeals, part of the funds allocated from the government reserve fund will be used to repair those roads that are most important for improving the quality of life of people.
