On November 11, a career guidance meeting of employees of the Volgograd branch of ROSDORNIA with the head of the graduating department "Construction and Operation of transport structures" of the IAIS VolgSTU S.V. Alexikov, the management of the college, the teaching staff, as well as students of the direction of training "Highways" took place at the Volgograd Construction College.
The meeting was opened by the head of the Department "Construction and Operation of transport facilities" of the IAIS of VolgSTU S.V. Alexikov. In his welcoming speech, he spoke about the history of the university, about the development of road transport education, about the tasks facing road workers today.
Director of the Volgograd branch of ROSDORNIA S.A. Cherkesov made a report in which he presented an analysis of the situation in the training of specialists for the road transport industry of the region and the whole of Russia. He noted that the Institute has created a system of advanced training for road workers within the framework of a national project, including the use of distance education technologies. In addition, employees of the institution regularly conduct career guidance events for students of universities, technical schools, schools.
Summing up the meeting, the director of the Volgograd Construction College G.A. Golikova noted the importance of such events both for the college, which is a forge of personnel for the road transport industry of the region, and for the industry itself.
As a result of the meeting, employees of the Volgograd branch of ROSDORNIA conducted a survey of the hall, which showed the interest of college students in obtaining new competencies and the desire to link their professional activities with the design, construction and operation of highways, as well as to continue further education for higher education.
