Concern "National Telematics Systems" (NTS) and the Russian Road Research Institute (FAA "ROSDORNII") signed a memorandum of cooperation on projects to create smart road infrastructure and unmanned vehicles in Russia and on international markets.
First of all, the parties will cooperate in the construction of intelligent transport systems (ITS Agglomerations) in Russia. In these projects, it will be necessary to combine knowledge in the field of transport modeling and forecasting, methodological support will be needed, as well as the involvement of additional competencies in the technical design and implementation of ITS.
Another area of cooperation between the parties is the creation of a unified national ecosystem of unmanned and highly automated transport, which includes the elaboration of amendments to legislation, the formation of unified national standards, the construction of landfills for testing and certification of new technological components from manufacturers.
The parties also intend to cooperate in international projects in the field of ITS, development and implementation of national systems payments and other foreign projects where Russian expertise, technical developments and experience are in demand.
