The FAA "ROSDORNII" has opened a new North-Western branch in St. Petersburg.
The new branch will have an impact on the development and improvement of the network of public roads in the region, as well as international transport corridors – these are priority tasks aimed at solving national economic and social issues.
The priority areas of activity of the North-Western Branch will be participation in research activities, development of industry regulatory and technical documents, construction control, diagnostics of highways and bridges. In addition, the branch will assist in the development of information technologies in the road industry, help introduce progressive developments in the practice of design and construction.
At the moment, the branch has a material and technical base and qualified personnel for testing road-building materials and structures, construction control of capital construction facilities, inspection and diagnostics of highways and bridges, including on a paid basis, as part of income-generating activities.
The branch should become an expert center of road competence in the North-Western Federal District in the field of tests, surveys and technical expertise. He will also be deeply immersed in the activities of training specialists in the road industry and improving their qualifications.
