The "Eskandor" auto laboratory continues to collect information on the condition of roads in the Murmansk region. The installation arrived in the region on July 5 and managed to scan 300 km of road surface in a few days. The region became the first subject in the country where the laboratory will carry out diagnostics within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Safe high-quality roads". In total, the mobile laboratory will travel about 900 km of roads and a digital double will be formed based on the data obtained.
The received information on the quality of the roadway will be processed and analyzed in the Regional Management Center using the Unified Platform of the Murmansk Region Transport System Management. The mobile laboratory runs along the roads of the Arctic at a speed of 60-80 km/ h, without interfering with traffic.
"At the moment, the laboratory has examined about 30% of the total volume of planned work. Diagnostics of the entire northern part of regional roads has been completed. The next two days we will be engaged in municipal (city) roads of Murmansk. On July 15, we are moving to the south of the Murmansk region, to the districts of Olenegorsk, Apatity and Umba," said the head of the modeling department interactions with the FAA "ROSDORNII" highwayDenis Kovalev.
