The IV BRICS+ International Municipal Forum was held in St. Petersburg on November 24-25th. Every year the event brings together representatives of government and business of the member countries.
Vitaly Nikiforov, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Department of ROSDORNII, took part in the event, and also assisted in arranging presentations held by the heads of leading Indian organizations of the road industry.
Dr. Manoranjan Parida, Director of the CSIR-Central Road Research Institute, was given the floor at the “Smart City” session of the Forum.
Mr. Sanjal Kumar Nirmal, Secretary General of the Indian Road Congress, also featured in the session “Roads of the Future: New Era in the Transformation of Transport and Logistics” which was a part of the business program.
The participants of the high-profile event discussed issues of socio-economic development of territories, building business partnerships and attracting investments to the BRICS countries and their partners.
