On March 25, the 32nd meeting of the Subcommittee on Road Transport and Road Management of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) took place.
On behalf of ROSDORNIA, the event was attended by Igor Evstigneev, Deputy Head of the ITS Development and Design Department, Mikhail Belov, Deputy Head of the ITS Department, Irina Mikava, Deputy Head of the Legal Support and Procurement Department.
The meeting discussed the work plans of the subcommittee on road transport and road management for 2022, the implementation of measures planned for the current year to implement a coordinated transport policy.
The following were also put up for discussion:
· draft analytical report on the formation of the legal framework for the creation, development and operation of the national network of intelligent transport systems of the EAEU member States;
· draft concept for improving the interaction of national intelligent transport systems in the Union;
· draft analytical report on the use of electronic documents in the carriage of goods by road in international traffic;
· draft analytical report on the feasibility of harmonizing the procedure for licensing activities in the field of international automobile passenger transportation (admission to international automobile passenger transportation) within the Union;
· draft recommendations on the development of the information support system for consumers of international passenger transportation services and the introduction of an electronic ticketing system for international passenger transportation within the Union.
The participants of the meeting also considered the issues of creating legal conditions for the application of permits for international road transport on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union in electronic form and the implementation of international road transport of goods in the current conditions of the current period.
Representatives of ROSDORNIA proposed to create an integration gateway for the exchange of information and joint work of national networks of ITS member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. On this issue, it was decided to hold a separate technical meeting of the expert group, at which to discuss the organization of the concept of data exchange.
