On March 3 and 4, representatives of the expert community will discuss technologies for the production and laying of asphalt concrete mixtures, requirements for them in new national standards, the use of modern materials in road construction.
The participants of the event were greeted by the head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov. The head of the department spoke about the main tasks that the industry is currently facing: This is the successful implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads", the achievement of national goals, as well as the development of the backbone network of highways of the Russian Federation.
"2022 has been declared the year of quality, and you and I must ensure this quality, namely, the durability of all the objects that we create, repair and bring into a normative state. To date, the Federal Road Agency, together with the subjects, has developed a concept for the year of quality, which carries methodological foundations in the organization of activities at each stage of road works. Methodologies that relate directly to production, application road-building materials, machinery, structures and technical solutions are just the issues that we have to discuss during the two days of the conference. Our current task is to increase the volume of work and make sure that these volumes of work become the basis for ensuring the welfare of citizens and for the development of the country's economy," the head of the department said.
Traditionally, the International Conference "Asphalt Concrete" is attended by manufacturers and consumers of asphalt concrete mixtures, employees of industry and scientific organizations of the transport complex.
Among the key topics of the first day of the event are the practice of designing asphalt concrete mixtures according to GOST R 58401 and GOST R 58406, which entered into force in 2019-2020, the nuances of improving quality at different stages of production and laying asphalt concrete mixtures, the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads" in the regions of the Russian Federation, updating the regulatory industry base, current trends in the technologies of asphalt concrete coatings, the supply of crushed stone. In addition, representatives of the largest contracting organizations will share with colleagues the experience of capital repair of federal roads.
On the second day of the conference, reports will be presented on new requirements for organo-mineral mixtures, quality control of work performed, green technologies and secondary resources in road construction.
During the opening of the event, the head of Rosavtodor presented departmental awards.
