The II International Conference "Asphalt Concrete-2022" is being held in St. Petersburg on March 3-4. The event was organized by the Association "R.O.S.ASPHALT" and LLC "ASTECH Industries" with the support of the Federal Road Agency, GC "Avtodor", ANO "Research Institute of TSK" and TC 418 "Road Economy".
Within the framework of the conference, road industry experts discuss a number of issues related to asphalt concrete, modern requirements for mixtures in new national standards, issues of quality improvement at different stages of production and laying of asphalt concrete mixtures, as well as issues related to the use of studded rubber.
On behalf of ROSDORNIA, the event is attended by Vladimir Martinson, Chief Adviser to the General Director, and Alexey Adam, Head of the Laboratory Support Department.
Vladimir Leonidovich made a report on the topic: "Organization and quality control of road works. Construction control". He explained that the construction control is the control of compliance of the work performed with the project documentation and the requirements of technical regulations, carried out during the construction, reconstruction, overhaul of the highway.
The main purpose of the construction control during the construction of highways is to prevent the acceptance of road construction works performed in violation of the requirements of the project documentation.
Construction control at the facility is carried out by the customer, as well as by the legal entity carrying out the construction (contractor) during the entire construction period until the commissioning of the facility.
The main tasks in the implementation of construction control are the performance of all construction control services in the scope and terms stipulated by the terms of reference to the contract; assessment of compliance with the quality of construction and scope of work with design requirements; monitoring compliance with the technology of work; interim acceptance of completed works, as well as participation in the commissioning of completed construction preparation of reports on the results of construction control at construction sites; timely informing the customer about all violations identified during the implementation of construction control.
Construction control is divided into input, operational and acceptance. The entrance control checks the compliance of the quality indicators of the purchased materials, products of structures and equipment with the requirements of standards, technical specifications or technical certificates for them specified in the project documentation and (or) the contract. To carry out the input control by the measuring method, a map of the input control of products at the facility is developed. Operational control by the measuring method is carried out on the basis of a pre-agreed operational control scheme at the construction site as part of the PPR.
