On December 8-9, a conference "Mineral binders in transport construction" was held in Moscow.
During the conference, five sessions were held, during which issues of strengthening and stabilizing the soils of road foundations, the use of cement concrete in road construction, rolled cement concrete coatings, the use of binders in road construction, as well as prospects for the mineral application of binders in road construction were discussed.From ROSDORNIA, the event was attended by Andrey Kochetkov, Head of the Department of Expertise and Risk Assessment, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Transport, Nadezhda Sakuta, Deputy Head of the Project Office for Science, Pavel Sychev, Deputy Head of the project office, and Ivan Zhevzhikov, Deputy Head of the Register of New Technologies.
Andrey Kochetkov made a report on the topic during the event: "The construction of road surfaces made of rolled bitumen cement concrete based on dispersed bitumen with an extended construction season." He spoke about the characteristics of bitumen suspensions and the main directions of their application.
In addition, a round table "Prospects for the use of mineral binders in transport construction" was held during the conference.
