On November 1, a working meeting with representatives of the American company Avery Dennison took place at the FAU "ROSDORNIA".
At the meeting, organized by employees of the Department of Organization and Road Safety, proposals on the characteristics of light and color reflective materials for the manufacture of road signs were discussed.
The importance and relevance of these issues is due to the fact that the FAA "ROSDORNII" is the lead developer of the national standard GOST R 52290-2004 "Technical means of traffic management. Road signs. General technical requirements".
Amendments to GOST will improve the quality and competitiveness of Russian-made road signs and eliminate the possibility of using low-quality reflective films in their manufacture.
