ROSDORNIA specialists are included in the working groups of the UN Economic Commission for Europe

The meeting of the 33rd annual session of the Working Group on Transport Trends and Economics of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (WP.5) in Geneva was attended by Mikhail Ivannikov, Head of the Statistics and Accounting Department of the Scientific Directorate of the FAA ROSDORNII. From 7 to 9 September, the Expert group on comparative analysis of costs for the construction of transport infrastructure of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (WP.5/GE.4) together with the secretariat of the Economic Commission for Europe, presented a final report, which includes an overview of models, methodologies, tools and best practices for the assessment, calculation and analysis of costs for the construction of inland transport infrastructure. The participation of ROSDORNIA in the work of the group and the preparation of the report was separately noted by the UNECE Secretariat. The experience of Russian road scientists in monitoring the cost of construction, reconstruction, overhaul and maintenance of public roads is of interest to European specialists. During the monitoring, the experts of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" systematize statistical information on the cost of the entire cycle of road works, carry out comparative analysis of key criteria and measurable parameters for calculating the cost of construction in Russia and abroad. As part of the session, a round table on intelligent transport systems (ITS) and cybersecurity was held, in which Alexey Soldatenkov, an employee of the ITS Development Directorate of ROSDORNIA, participated in a remote format. The key topics of discussion were various types of cyber threats faced by the inland transport sector, taking into account the growth of process automation and digitalization. It was decided to create a climate change assessment group for inland transport and adaptation, the first meeting is scheduled for October 1-2, 2020. Specialists of the FAA "ROSDORNIA" are invited to work with this group, taking into account the active participation of Russian scientists in the development of a set of measures for the sustainable development of transport infrastructure in the Russian Federation.
