On July 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the commissioning ceremony of the Central Ring Road of the Moscow Region.

The Head of State visited the central control point of the Central Ring Road, from where he launched traffic along the final section of the road, including the interchange at the intersection of the Central Ring Road-4 and M-5 "Ural", the 25-kilometer section of the Central Ring Road-1 from Kaluga to Simferopol highway and the intersection of the Central Ring Road-5 and M-10 "Russia". Construction control at this site and in general at the Central Ring Road-1 (49.5 km from the M-4 "Don" highway to the 11th km of the Small Moscow Ring) was carried out by ROSDORNIA specialists.

"Thanks to all the participants of this project. It is big, very important and necessary not only for the central part of the country, for Moscow, for the Moscow region, but for everyone," Vladimir Putin said.

The Central Ring Road passes through the Moscow region 50 km from the MKAD, crosses 13 federal roads and unloads the capital's streets from transit transport. The length is 336 km, of which 260 km will be operated on a paid basis. The Central Ring Road is the first road in Russia with a "Free Flow" toll collection system, which allows you to move without stopping at the frames payment. The permitted speed is 110 kilometers per hour.
