The event was organized by the Volgograd branch of ROSDORNIA and the Department of "Construction and Operation of Transport Facilities" of the Volgograd State Technical University.
During the meeting, the director of the Volgograd branch of ROSDORNIA S.A. Cherkesov raised the issue of personnel shortage in the industry, told students about the situation on the labor market in the road construction complex of the region and spoke about innovative and technological solutions being implemented on the highways of the Southern Federal District.
Advisor to the Deputy Director General of ROSDORNII S.V. Vereshchagin made a review of the standardization process and the introduction of the Superpave system of volumetric and functional design of asphalt concrete mixtures in Russia, invited students and teachers of the Department of Construction and Operation of Transport Structures to an excursion to the organization's road testing laboratory.
According to the results of the meeting, a questionnaire was conducted in the hall, which showed the interest of students in obtaining new competencies and the desire to link their professional activities with the design, construction and operation of transport facilities.
