On June 29 on the sidelines of the conference "ITS in Urban Agglomerations. Challenges and Development Prospects", domestic companies specializing in the implementation of ITS solutions held a trade fair. The exhibitors presented their latest and best projects aimed at the industry growth.
JSC "SMARTS" (Middle Volga Inter-regional Association of Radio Telecommunication Systems) demonstrated an innovative project "Creation of Road Telecommunication Networks" based on FOCL in the roadside for deployment of ITS and V2X infrastructure for connected and unmanned vehicles. The construction technology has undergone trials on all categories of roads; the length of the built infrastructure is about 1.2 thousand kilometers.
In 2020 "SMARTS" became a partner of NTI "Autonet" in the Samara region to create a pilot zone of "Autodata" platform. Consequently, there appeared fundamentally new services for drivers that improve road safety.
JSC "TRASCOM", established in 1999, develops software operating on regional and federal roads totaling over 140 thousand kilometers. The company is engaged in meteomonitoring, road user information management, traffic flow and road condition monitoring. "TRASCOM" projects help eliminate main problems of road management bodies, contractors and integrator companies in the domains of road engineering and maintenance. The main products of the company are the flagship weather station "INEY" (Hoarfrost), specialized software "TRAFIK-INFO" and "TRASSA" (Highway) as well as the service for special-purpose road forecasts.
"Dornadzor" LLC deals with traffic simulation when designing ITS systems, implements mapping services and interactive applications, develops digital projects for a better work with infrastructure.
The company's solutions enable the infrastructure users to receive information on the existing connections of ITS and various subsystems, and for infrastructure operators it allows to receive data on the monitoring and operability of intelligent transport systems; for the federal executive authorities it provides insight of the situation on the territories and road segments under their jurisdiction.
Traffic simulation determines the existing situation and makes it possible to forecast the need to install certain ITS facilities on certain road segments.
JSC "SVIAZSTROYDETAL" is a modern high-tech industrial enterprise, which has at its disposal a full range of equipment for the production of a wide assortment of items for manufacturing information cable systems. The company offers more than 7000 products of its own manufacture - fr om reinforced concrete wells up to high density optical switchgears.

Science and Technology Center "Integrated Monitoring Systems" since 2014 has been engaged in designing and implementing automated traffic management systems (ATMS), toll collection systems (TCS), systems for monitoring of engineering structures (SMIS) and geotechnical monitoring, research and production activities to develop its own software and hardware solutions, as well as developing regulatory documentation in the field of designing and operating automated management and monitoring systems.
The company seeks to improve road safety through real-time condition monitoring of load-bearing structures of artificial structures (SMIS). Scientific and Technical Center "Comprehensive Monitoring Systems" has accomplished more than 200 projects in 15 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
"Sorb Engineering" LLC manufactures equipment and develops software for road infrastructure projects. The company's activity is aimed at development of roads, building an innovative intelligent transport network. The company operates in various areas of the road industry: road safety, traffic management, unmanned transport traffic management, development of V2I services. At FAI “ROSDORNII”'s fair premises the inventor unveiled a prototype of the transponder.
"Angely Ai-Ti" LLC ("IT Angels") is a company dealing with the development and implementation of ITS components, offering solutions for traffic flow analysis with necessary intelligence in compliance with the requirements to ITS systems. It carries out digitization of accident rate analysis, and also manufactures systems for photo-video registration of administrative offenses.
The enterprise's solutions are used in 65 regions of the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In 2021 in the Ryazan region "Angely Ai-Ti" implemented a transport platform which collects and analyzes data from 10 subsystems of road and meteorological monitoring. Over 30 Russian regions employ the company's system to automate weight and dimensional control. Paid municipal parking lots in eight cities were automated with the help of the developer's platforms.
"Sandrax" LLC is a Russian developer of intelligent management systems for outdoor and stage lighting, architectural and artistic illumination based on equipment and software of own brands KULON, Sandrax Electronics, MONARK. Equipment and software of the company is employed in outdoor lighting facilities of the Federal Road Agency and GK "Avtodor", it has proven to be successfully used in 70 cities and on numerous federal highways in Russia.
"Zavod Ekranov" LLC (Factory of Screens) - TM "Svetodiody Rossii" (LEDs of Russia) is a manufacturing company enjoying over a decade’s experience. The business designs, manufactures and installs information display devices. For ITS projects implementation it offers tools to feed traffic information for road users and facilities to equip traffic management centers and video walls for situational centers.
"RIPAS SPB" LLC has been involved in designing and manufacturing equipment and software for traffic management for 20 years. The list of the company's products includes traffic controllers "SPEKTR" enabling the implementation of sophisticated algorithms based on traffic flow data, multi-functional devices for connecting third-party or outdated traffic controllers to the management system, traffic detectors that measure traffic load. "RIPAS SPB" also produces SPEKTR software. The platform makes it possible to automate road traffic management, integrate various third-party systems and steer traffic flows in the city depending on highway utilized capacity.
"ARMO-Systems" LLC distributes security systems equipment from leading world manufacturers, as well as develops industry solutions for specific facilities. In particular, these are video surveillance and detection subsystems which are successfully used in Russian ITS. The company also creates its own software for video management and integrated security systems.

"Clayton" LLC, operating in the market for over 20 years, designs and manufactures controlled LED smart lights and light management systems. The company's products have illuminated more than a thousand kilometers of highways. In-house R&D department of the company designs and implements latest technologies of light management. In the course of products development, the patents for inventions were worked out and introduced, 13 designs and technologies made it into the Register of novel and best technologies, materials and technological solutions for reuse (RNNT).

FAI “ROSDORNII” is engaged in the sourcing and piloting new technologies and solutions in the field of ITS, which is also hosted by the Road Industry Accelerator.
The Register of New and Best Technologies, Materials and Technological Solutions for Reuse (RNNT) was founded by FAI “ROSDORNII” and put into operation in 2019 as part of the implementation of the National Project "Safe High-Quality Roads". The Institute implements a set of measures to update the Registry, including in terms of analysis and expansion of the included information on technologies and materials, as well as a number of other priority works. In addition to the basic functionality, additional information modules have been developed, including a module for reporting on system performance in various aspects.
Simultaneously, mechanisms are developed and implemented for updating normative and technical documents in the sphere of road sector, shaping budget standards for new technologies and materials included in the Register, monitoring and assessment of technologies and materials employment efficiency as well as operational condition of highways and built structures wh ere the innovations were trialed. All above factors will allow industry participants to swiftly share experience in real time on the application of new technologies in terms of their efficiency, safety and ROI period.
