ROSDORNII expands cooperation with Armenia

From December 1 to December 4, 2021, the ROSDORNIA delegation headed by Director General Stanislav Naboko was in the Republic of Armenia on an official visit. During the trip, a number of meetings were held with representatives of government agencies and customer companies, documents on joint activities were signed. Based on the results of the delegation's work, a cooperation plan for 2022 is being formed.

The visit began with a meeting with the management of the engineering consulting company "Haldi Consult" - the customer of the construction control works performed by ROSDORNIA on eight sections of highways in the Republic of Armenia. The parties discussed the volume of work performed this year and discussed the possibility of continuing joint work.

On the second of December, the ROSDORNIA delegation held talks with representatives of the SNCO "Road Department". During the meeting, the parties summed up the results of joint work in 2021 and discussed the prospects for cooperation in 2022. In particular, the Road Department of Armenia plans to expand the range of tasks performed by the Institute in terms of construction control (including as a general contractor), design and diagnostics of highways. In addition, the issues of ROSDORNIA's participation in the development of the regulatory and technical base of the republic and in digitalization projects of road activities were discussed.

Representatives of the Road Department highly appreciated the level of competence of the Institute and the quality of the work performed, noting that the scientific, technical and operational potential of ROSDORNIA allows the institute to be much more involved in the work of the country's road industry.

The visit ended with a meeting with the leadership of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUASA). The educational, scientific and laboratory facilities of the university were presented , and an agreement on cooperation in the field of road activities was signed. The parties agreed on cooperation between research teams, joint activities and research, systematic exchange of information on modern technologies, materials and methods of road construction, as well as on the implementation of professional development programs for specialists.
