Specialists of the North-Western Branch of the Golitsyn branch of ROSDORNIA conducted selective monitoring of the quality of road works from June 7 to 11, and also analyzed the road construction materials used in the Republic of Karelia. The departure was carried out to the repair facilities of public roads such as: "Kondopoga – Vikshozero", "Zaozerye – Pinguba", "Medvezhegorsk – Tolvuya – Velikaya Guba", "Wooden – Derevyanka – Pyazhieva Selga – Pukhta", "Olonets – Pitkyaranta – Leppyasilta", "Kurkieki – Elisenvaara". The customer was the Republican Department of Highways.
ROSDORNIA specialists selected samples of asphalt concrete mix, studied the temperature conditions of laying for compliance with regulatory documentation, checked the geometric parameters of the pavement, analyzed the maintenance of executive documentation at the facilities. The experts also visited asphalt concrete plants, where they selected samples of raw materials for the preparation of the mixture and conducted an audit of the laboratory services of contractors.
Following the results of the monitoring, a working meeting was held with the Minister for Road Transport economy, transport and communications of the republic by Sergey Shchebekin. Next, ROSDORNIA specialists will go to inspect the objects of the Leningrad and Murmansk regions, as well as St. Petersburg.
