Awarding of ROSDORNIA employees for their active participation in the construction of the Crimean Bridge took place on August 16 in the walls of the scientific institution. According to the regulations on the commemorative medal, established by Vladimir Putin in July 2018, it is awarded on behalf of the President of Russia to people and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the construction of the Crimean Bridge. On behalf of the President, the awards were presented by Stanislav Naboko, Director General of ROSDORNIA.
"I cordially congratulate you. I will be happy to present state awards. This is really, in the full sense of the word, the recognition by the country of your merits and your contribution to the development of the Russian state," said the head of ROSDORNIA before the presentation.
According to the order of the Minister of TransportVitaly Savelyev, medals were awarded to:Sergey Bespalov,Roman Eremin,Elena Kashevskaya,Alexander Kuznetsov,Alexander Kulizhnikov,Alexander Mikhalev,Alexander Perfilov.
The construction of the Crimean Bridge began in February 2016. First of all, the task was to finish the construction of the automobile part of the transport crossing. The opening was planned as of December 2018, however, the builders were able to hand over the object earlier. The grand opening ceremony of the bridge highway was held on May 15, 2018. Russian President Vladimir Putin personally drove a KAMAZ truck in a convoy with construction workers. For passenger cars, traffic was opened the next day, for trucks – in the autumn of the same year.
