On April 22, a business meeting of the management of the scientific institute and the Association of Producers and Consumers of Asphalt concrete mixtures ("R.O.S.ASPHALT") took place at the FAU "ROSDORNIA". The parties discussed topical issues of the development of the road industry and outlined further steps to strengthen cooperation.
Back in November last year, the FAA "ROSDORNII" and "R.O.S.ASPHALT" signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development, implementation and application of new materials and technologies, as well as the development of regulatory, technical and legal framework in the field of production and application of asphalt concrete mixtures. The purpose of the agreement is to combine the efforts and experience of two leading industry structures to jointly solve problems within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads" (NP "BKD").
Within the framework of joint activities, the Institute and the association conduct consultations on various issues on an ongoing basis. This time, special attention was paid to the training and advanced training of specialists in the road industry, an increase in the number of scientific research conducted annually, and the introduction of intelligent transport systems. Separately the possibility of holding an All-Russian meeting on road safety was discussed.
