The mobile automotive laboratory of ROSDORNIA "Eskandor" has arrived in the Murmansk region to study the strength of highways. The region has become the first subject in the country where the laboratory will diagnose the road surface as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe High-quality Roads".
During the operational meeting, the Governor of the Murmansk region, Andrey Chibis, said that digitization of the roadway will allow making decisions on road repairs in those places where it is really necessary, based on technical expertise data.
"Escandor" is able to survey roads by several parameters at the same time. In particular, to assess the strength of asphalt, longitudinal and transverse evenness, depth and profile of the track, coupling properties. The data collected by the laboratory will be transferred to the database of the Road funds Control system (SKDF) in a unified form.
