The heads of the institutes signed a cooperation agreement.
The parties will interact to achieve the goals and indicators of the national project "Safe and high-quality Highways" (NP "BCAD"). The cooperation will be aimed at the development and application of artificial intelligence mechanisms, scientific and innovative educational programs, providing high-quality training, retraining and advanced training of specialists. The parties agreed to create the necessary conditions for successful cooperation.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the Director General of the FAA "ROSDORNII"Alexey Varyatchenko and Acting Directors of IPT RAS and Gori Malygin.
The Russian Road Research Institute and the N.S. Solomenko Institute of Transport Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences will jointly implement research programs and projects. The parties intend to form joint temporary research teams for research work. If necessary, experts from one institute can be involved for implementation of the project of another institution.
A large amount of joint work will be carried out on research, consulting, educational and educational activities. Scientific institutions have announced their intentions to conduct research and development in the field of the use of artificial intelligence mechanisms in transport, to develop educational programs and professional development programs, to exchange employees for joint research, seminars and consultations. It is planned to organize scientific internships for specialists and young scientists. In addition, the experts of the institutes will jointly hold scientific and methodological conferences, seminars, symposiums, round tables, meetings and exhibitions.
It is planned that the results of the joint work will be published in scientific journals indexed in Russian and international information and analytical systems of scientific citation, and reflected in reports at conferences, monographs, textbooks, etc.
The validity period of the signed agreement will be 5 years.
It should be noted that both institutions have high scientific and technical potential and many years of experience in the declared subject areas, an extensive laboratory base for research, as well as large educational resources. The basic department of SPbSETU (LETI) has been functioning at the IPT RAS for many years, more than 30% of employees teach at universities in St. Petersburg and Moscow, the FAU "ROSDORNII" implements a System of advanced training of road workers within the framework of the NP "BCAD".
