Implementation of the transport capabilities of the TRACECA project participating countries (abbreviation from the English Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia - the program of international cooperation between the European Union and partner countries on the organization of the transport corridor "Europe – Caucasus - Asia") It further increased the transit and logistics attractiveness of the region, promoted the development of multimodal transportation, intensified economic, trade and cultural ties, and also strengthened economic potential. This was stated by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov at a meeting with Asset Asavbayev, Secretary General of the permanent secretariat of the TRACECA intergovernmental commission, the ministry said in a statement.
The meeting discussed the work done in the direction of improving and developing the transport infrastructure in Azerbaijan. It was noted that Azerbaijan's location in an important geopolitical region is on the the intersection of international corridors, as well as large-scale investments, have made it possible to implement major transport and infrastructure projects in the country.
"The measures taken to develop regional transport corridors, reconstruct roads and railways in accordance with international standards, along with strengthening Azerbaijan's transit potential, also contribute to improving TRACECA's competitiveness," the ministry said in a statement.
Asset Asavbayev, in turn, stressed the role of the international transport corridor in promoting transportation between member countries and strengthening economic partnership, noting that this work has become an important part of the Eurasian transport map.
In addition, the issues of increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of the TRACECA international transport corridor, expanding its geography and improving the efficiency of transportation through the use of digitalization were discussed at the meeting.
Recall that the international transport corridor "Europe-Caucasus-Asia" (TRACECA) is a multimodal transport complex systems of the countries of the region, the agreement on the development of which was signed in September 1998 in Baku. The route originates in Eastern European countries (Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine), and also crosses Turkey. Then the route follows through the Black Sea to the ports of Poti and Batumi in Georgia, then it uses the transport network of the countries of the South Caucasus, as well as Iran, using land communication with this region from Turkey. From Azerbaijan, through ferry crossings, the route enters the railway networks of Central Asia (Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan), which have access to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and reach the borders with China and Afghanistan.
Armenia
The Armenian company will help to create a single digital corridor of the EAEU
https://ru.armeniasputnik.am/ 08.06.2021
The Armenian company "Locator" will participate in the creation of a unified system of digital corridors for transport in the Eurasian Union. This was announced by the director of the company Arman Khachatryan in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
To implement the project, an international consortium was created, which includes engineering companies from five member countries of the Union. From Armenia the company "Locator" will take part in the work. The Eurasian Economic Commission will allocate funds for the implementation of the project. The parties have already determined the list of necessary services and infrastructure and discussed them on June 1-2 at the 3rd Eurasian Digital Forum "TIBO" in Minsk, one of the largest regional forums of the technology industry, which receives guests from both Near and Far Abroad.
According to the project, national projects on digitization of transport traffic will be assembled into a single system in which digital services for cars from one EAEU country will operate both at home and in the other four countries of the Union.
"The project requires the formation of an end—to-end cartographic service in the EAEU space, integrated with the networks of international transport corridors and providing reliable and promptly updated data on the state of trunk roads and infrastructure facilities," Khachatryan said.
Within the framework of a single corridor for a truck, it will be possible to book a queue at a checkpoint at the border of both your country and all other EAEU countries (for example, between Russia and Belarus, or between the EAEU country and a third country – for example, at a checkpoint in Kazakhstan on the border with China).
It is proposed to integrate systems for medical examination of drivers, including COVID tests, as well as electronic waybills, driver's waybills and navigation seals (with the help of which customs authorities monitor the movement of cars). The creation of a common system will significantly reduce the checks on the way, which means the time of the cars.
It is proposed to add secondary, but no less important services for the driver to the single ecosystem (for example, booking a place at roadside gas stations or cafes as you follow).
Finally, it is proposed to discuss the possibility of interfacing this system with the same systems of third countries (for example, in the European Union).

The international specialized environmental exhibition-forum "Ecology Expo-2021" and the XVI Republican Environmental Forum "Involvement of Civil Society in environmental decision-making" were held in Minsk on June 3-5.
align="left"> The purpose of the forum is to consolidate all segments of society in solving environmental problems, to promote coordination of efforts in achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Subbotin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Andrei Khudyk, UN Permanent Coordinator in Belarus Ioanna Kazana-Vishnevetsky, and other officials.
As Alexander Subbotin noted, the "green" agenda is becoming the most important and fashionable trend in all sectors of the economy. This is also evidenced by the wide range of topics of the expositions presented. These are environmental technologies in industry and construction, waste and secondary raw materials processing, environmental conservation and restoration, eco-friendly food and packaging, environmental education, ecotourism and, of course, eco-friendly transport.
The exhibition brought together more than 100 participants, including the leading manufacturers of innovative passenger transport in our country, JSC MAZ, the management company of the BELAVTOMAZ Holding, and JSC Belkommunmash Holding Management Company.
align="left"> Minsk Automobile Plant demonstrated a low-floor electric bus MAZ 303E10 at an open area near the national exhibition center "BelExpo". The estimated power reserve of the car is up to 300 km. Charging time -6.5 hours. The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h.10 such electric buses have already been delivered to the republic: one to each of the regional centers and four to the capital.
But this time Belkommunmash surprised not with an electric bus, but with an improved trolleybus model 321 with an increased margin of autonomous travel. The vehicle is designed for 99 passengers. Its length is 12.5 m. The power of the electric motor is 150 kW. The body covering is made of composite materials. Doors of the rotary-sliding type with an anti-jamming system. A copy was put on public display, which will soon go to its buyer in Bulgaria. On the eve of the trolleybus successfully passed certification.
Several models of electric cars (Geely and Tesla) and those that run on natural gas were also presented at the Ecology Expo.
Thus, the Ecology Expo exhibition can be considered as a practical a tool for the presentation of Belarusian and foreign innovative achievements in the field of environmental protection, which also helps manufacturers to increase the awareness of their brands.

"Kazavtozholu" did not agree on the introduction of payment on 13 sections of roads out of 18
https://ru.sputnik.kz/ 09.06.2021
Initially, it was assumed that 18 sections of roads would be paid in Kazakhstan in 2021, but payment is being introduced so far only on five sections. The rest must be brought into proper shape
This year, a toll collection system will be introduced in Kazakhstan on five sections of Category I roads, that is, of the highest quality.
Initially, it was planned to take payment from 18 sites, but the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development did not agree with Kazavtozhol to introduce a fee on 13 sites, the official representative of the national company Dias Akhmetsharip told Sputnik Kazakhstan. If they are repaired and put in proper shape, then these sections, categories II and III, may also become paid this year.
When asked why we do not provide alternative free roads on a par with toll roads, Dias Akhmetsharip replied the following:
"Our legislation does not provide for construction of alternative free roads along with toll roads. The country is large in territory, it is very expensive to build highways," he said.
The toll rates on the new sections are calculated by analogy with the existing toll roads, which have not been changed since 2013.
The construction of toll roads necessarily includes the development of roadside infrastructure. These are places for recreation and parking, hotels, supermarkets, toilets, pharmacies, Kazavtozhol NC reported.
To date, agreements have been signed with large network gas stations GasEnergy, KazTransGas, Compass, Sinooil, PetroRetail and M-36 for the construction of 134 modern roadside complexes by the end of 2024 on all republican highways, including toll sections.
How Bus lane lanes will work on the highways of Kazakhstan
https://www.inform.kz/ 11.06.2021
According to what principle Bus lane lanes will work on the highways of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Turgumbayev told at a briefing in the CCS, the correspondent of MIA Kazinform reports.
"On some streets we have already they switched to such a mode when only during rush hour they work as bus lanes, at other times they work according to the general mode. That is, it is an advanced foreign practice when Bus lane indicates that buses operate from 17:00 to 20:00 and from 7:00 to 10:00, at other times it is a public road. That is, such a decision was made in the city of Nur-Sultan and other regional centers," Yerlan Turgumbayev said, answering journalists' questions.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the year, the police have detected more than 2.5 million traffic violations in Kazakhstan.
"The level of road safety directly depends on driving discipline, the quality of roads and the state of transport. Since the beginning of the year, the police have detected more than 2.5 million traffic violations, the main part of them is speeding," Yerlan Turgumbayev said.
